What you will do:

As an Elixir & Phoenix developer, you will join one of our agile teams and make our clients' ideas come alive. Specify features, build software products, overdeliver expectations.
Have ownership of your code, take responsibility for the product and your decisions. Share your Elixir knowledge with the team, adopt best practices and stay up-to-date.

Backend experience, building products using Elixir or Phoenix
High coding standards, writing clean, maintainable & organized code
Understanding of Functional Programming & CleanCode principles
Knowledge of relational databases, MySQL, PostgreSQL
Familiarity with Elixir ecosystem, Ecto, edeliver & deployment, trends
Experience in building RESTFul API backends of single page apps, Javascript apps or mobile apps
Knowledge of the agile product development cycle
Being up-to-date with the latest trends in web development
Good written and spoken English
Good attitude, motivated personality
Being eager to learn new skills

Familiar with AWS infrastructure and deployment pipelines

How long does the recruitment process take, and will I receive a response in any case?

Normally the process is within 3-6 weeks. We do our best to get back to you within 1-2 weeks after receiving your application and guide you through the process. We give feedback after each step is taken.

Is VeryCreatives hiring for a specific product?

Usually no. We are a product agency where several product teams are dedicated to build a specific product. There are opportunities to join these teams or start with a new one for a brand-new product development. Sometimes, however, we are looking to extend the project teams. In each case, we provide detailed information in the job description and during the selection process.

How many different projects do team members typically work on at the same time?

At VeryCreatives, developers work on one product at a time usually. Sometimes, minor bug fixes or testing come up on other projects, but our primary goal is to have a developer's complete focus on one product only. Designers might work on 2-4 projects simultaneously, while project managers' portfolios can consist of one big or 2-3 smaller or mid-size projects.

What shall I do if I do not see an open position fitting my profile on your site?
